Trickster's middle tree is objectively the worst of all classes. You can use those with whatever tree you want and it's much better to go other trees.

That is not Harbinger tree doing damage, that is weapon mods and Pax nodes. That’s why imo harbinger build still has a good use if you just want th play SUPER easy god mode on trickster but still clear at a decent to sometimes even good pace still. Like there’s not a moment in this game where any amount of enemies swarming me even takes half away from my shield.

That’s why going full harbinger and tank on your armor too then doing creative things just to ensure you do some damage makes solo early game trickster much easier on the usual frail class.īut I still enjoy this guy because he clearly still destroys groups just as quickly and the thing is I just marvel at HOW tanky he is lol. Yeah cause I said that wasn’t my harbinger build. And of course…he fights with style and is very enjoyable.
He even gets a little crowd control and team support (fron how much he spams skills giving everyone shield so often). He’s invincible in every fight or situation in the game. I use his secondary smg for the arbiters and a few other mostly single target boss fights in game but besides those his shotgun is good balance everywhere else (I just want leech on it so he gets a better means of healing but in any event his resistance, armor, health, and shield gains are so high he rarely takes damage still even without being a full harbinger build).

The last touches on him will be to get weapon leech on his primary shotgun and another anomaly power mod on his boots but beyond that he’s perfect. Slow trap also slows the axes from the arbiters.Īll that said if you want to still kill anything quickly (bosses or groups), have a fun build, AND be invincible still rarely taking damage at all I’ve finely tuned this trickster now. The weakness is killing bosses quickly sure but you’re so tanky it’s not like they’re a challenge anyway. I love my pure middle tree pure max health trickster and he still destroys enemies thanks to how OP meticulous schemer is in the bottom pax tree. It’s probably how you make trickster’s the tankiest class in game bevause they never take ANY damage period. Solo it takes like couple of minutes to kill final Arbiter and in co-op it's fucking torture haha It clears very fast and it's very tanky and safe, but boss damage is pretty weak.
That one also uses Trespasser's set but in a very different way. Or maybe you'd like something more exotic, more Skill-based, like a caster and not a shooter. Try to get rest of the mods and see how it feels. Phantom Dash, Double Time, Sharp Eye, Kingslayer, Captain Hunter and Strong Twist are all extra, build is strong enough without them. Trespasser's set is very good and a build with Time Rift / HtP and Twisted Rounds is still very strong. And having a Mobility Skill adds a lot of damage from Outrider Executioner node. I'd also change Slow Trap for Hunt the Prey, because I cannot imagine playing Trickster without that skill. If you want to play it like a shooter and actually do damage change to top tree and change Venator's Knife to Twisted Rounds. Harbinger capstone is trash and most nodes in that tree are bad. And even for tanky builds it's much better to grab only few nodes from Harbinger tree and then some from top and bottom.
Tanky Trick can work but not like that and it's never going to be strong. You are tankier but what does that really matter if you take ages to kill enemies? If someone is shooting you it's better to be able to kill them fast than to be able to take few more bullets. You are going Harbinger tree, that sucks.
